Political Boundary Of Sea Of Azov

The sea is largely affected by the inflow of the Kuban, Don and other rivers, which bring silt, sand and shells. And which in turn form numerous bays, narrow spits and limans .The sea bottom is relatively smooth and flat,   because of these deposits, with the depth gradually increasing toward the middle.

Also, due to the river huge inflow the water in the sea has low salinity and a high amount of biomass  that affects the water colour. Due to high density of  plankton result in unusually high fish productivity.
