Karnataka National Parks
- In the state of Karnataka ,there are five national parks.
- This park is located in the Western Ghats
- This park has tropical rain forests and deciduous forests
- Kali River flows through the park
- Tigers ,Black Panther And Indian Elephants are most distinct fauna of the park
2. Kundermukh National Park
- This park is also located in the Western Ghats
- Tropical Wet Evergreen Forest along with natural grasslands are found all over the park.
- Kundermukh is Karnataka's 2nd Highest peak
- Tunga & Bhadra Rivers both joins and forms Tungbhadra River (Tributary of Krishna)
- This park is Rich in Iron Ore.
3.Nagarhole (Rajiv Gandhi ) National Park
- This park is also located in the Western Ghats
- Tropical Rain Forests And Moist Deciduous Forests is found all over the park
- Kabini , Lakshamtirtha River And Nagarhole River stream flows through the park(All are tributaries of Cauvery)
- This Park together with Bandipur ,Mudumalai and Wayanad Sanctuaries make the largest protected are in the South
4.Bandipur National Park
- This park is also located in the Western Ghats
- Dry deciduous forests are dominant along with Moist deciduous forests
- Kabini and Moyar River flows through the park
- This park has high diversity of wild species
- This Park is also a part of Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve
5.Bannergatha National Park
- This Park is located in the outskirts of Bangalore
- Suvernmukhi Stream Flows Through the park
- Most of the forests of the park is artificially created
- some part of the park is Zoological Garden
